
The presented list of Sunnah will be unnumbered and the mentioned Sunnahs will be of very commom day-to-day conducts that Muslims can regularly practice. Sunnahs are listed below in one line and easy to read as the following.
Wake up rubbing the face and the eyes with the palms of the hands so you’re no sleepier.
Make the bed yourself.
Enter the toilet with your head covered.
Enter the toilet with shoes.
Recite the dua before entering the toilet.
Enter with the left foot.
Sit and urinate. One should never urinate whilst standing.
One should not face or show his back towards Qiblah.
Do not speak in the toilet.
After relieving oneself, cleanse using water.
Leave the toilet with the right foot.
Recite the dua after coming out of the toilet.
Greet those that are in the house with “Assalaamu alaykum.”
Spread out a cloth on the floor before eating.
Wash both hands up to the wrists.
Remove your shoes before eating.
Sit on the floor and eat.
Before eating recite ‘Bismillah wa’la barakatillah’ aloud.
When eating, sit with either both knees on the ground or one knee raised or both knees raised.
Do not lean and eat.
Eat with the right hand.
Eat with three fingers if possible.
One should not eat very hot food.
Do not blow on the food.
Eat from the side that is in front of you.
If a morsel of food falls down, pick it up, clean it and eat it.
Whilst eating, one should not remain completely silent.
Do not find fault with the food.
Clean the plate and. other utensils thoroughly after eating.
After eating, lick the fingers.
Recite the dua after eating.
Remove the food before getting up.
Wash both the hands after meals.
Gargle the mouth after eating.
Recite “Bismillah” before drinking.
A Muslim should drink with the right hand. Shaytaan drinks with the left hand.
Sit and drink.
Do not drink directly from the jug or bottle. Pour the drink into a glass first and then drink.
Drink in 3 breaths (sips), removing the utensil from the mouth after each sip.
After drinking say “Alhamdulillah”.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) loved white clothing.
When putting on any garment always began with the right limb.
When removing any garment always removed the left limb first.
Men should wear a ‘topee’ (hat) or turban. Females must wear scarves covering all their hair at” all times.
When wearing shoes, first wear the right shoe then the left.
When removing your shoes, first remove the left and then the right.

When you enter a house greet those that are in the house with “Assalaamu alaykum.”
To announce one’s arrival by coughing, greeting, etc. even though it may be your own house
Apply Itr. (This applies to men only in public but for women among women gatherings only).
Sleep immediately after the Esha Salaah.
Before going to sleep, discuss with one’s family members matters pertaining to Deen.
Sleep in the state of Wudhu.
One should change into some other clothes (e.g. pajamas) before going to sleep.
Dust the bed thrice before retiring to bed.
Sleep on the right hand side.
Sleep with the right palm under the right cheek.
Keep the knees slightly bent when sleeping.
Refrain from sleeping on one’s stomach.
Sleeping on a bed or on the floor is both Sunnah.
Face the Qiblah when you sleep.
Before sleeping :-
Recite Ayatul Kursi
Recite Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas 3 times and blow over the entire body thrice
Recite Tasbeeh e Fatimi (i.e. 33 times Subhan Allah times Alhamdulillah and 34 times Allahu Akbar).
For men, keep a beard that is one fist in length.
Carry one’s shoes in the left hand.
Make Wudhu at home before going to the Masjid.
Enter the Masjid with the right foot.
Leave the Masjid with the left foot.
Keep the gaze on the ground whilst walking.
Speak softly and politely.
Greet all Muslims by saying. ‘Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahl wa barakaatuhu.”
Show mercy to those who are younger than you.
Respect your elders.
Respect your parents.
Visit a Muslim when he is sick.
Be good towards your neighbor.
Meet a Muslim with a cheerful face.
Care for the poor and elderly.
Keep good relations with all your relatives.
Honor a guest, even though he may not be of a very high position.
Be hospitable towards your guest.
Exchange gifts with one another.
Make mashwarah (consult) with one’s parents, teachers or elders before doing any work.
Ponder over the creation of Allah Ta’ala.
Command people to do good.
Forbid people from doing evil.
Recite some portion of the Qur’an Sharif daily.
Make dua to Allah Ta’ala for the fulfillment of one’s needs in whatever language one desires.
