Firstly, set your alarm clock to the dawn time for Fajr Salah. When your alarm is ringing, if you ‘SNOOZE’ you ‘LOSE’.

Recite this du’a after waking up –

“Alhamdulillaahillazi ahyaanaa ba’da maa amaata-naa wa ilaihinnushuur.”

“All praise to Allah (SWT),Who revived us to life after giving us death, and to him we shall have to return.”

If you want to take Ghusl in early hour if needed it is upto you. In the condition of Junub or Jannabah, married couples should perform Ghusl before any supererogatory prayers. Men who will go for their congregation shall take mandatory full bath. Cleanliness is important before any fard prayer. Make sure you enter the toilet with left foot first.

Recite this du’a before entering the bathroom –

“Bismillah, Allahumma inni a’u-dhu bika minal khubuthi walkhobaith.”

“In The Name of Allah

Oh Allah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.”

By saying Bismillah the Jinn are unable to view the nakedness. While changing, remove the left limb first. Recite this dua-

“Bismillahi-Lladhi laa ilaaha illa huwa.”

“In the name of Allah, the One whom there is no god but He.”

One should make Niyyah (intention) before making Ghusl: –

“I am performing Ghusl so as to become Paak.”

Following the ways of Sunnah, a Ghusl is  started by washing both the hands up to the wrists primarily. Then wash the private parts and remove dirt or filth from the body. After that, perform Wudu. After Wudu, pour the water over the head three times so that it flows all over the body. Accordingly, again water should be poured on the right shoulder three times and then on the left shoulder three times. You can chose to wipe or abstain from drying, it is a choice!

Begin to wear dress with the right limb first, and then the left. Recite this dua-

“Allaahumma lakal-hamdu ‘Anta kasawtaneehi, ‘as’aluka min khayrihi wa khayri maa suni’a lahu, wa ‘a’oothu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni’a lahu.”

“O Allah, praise is to You. You have clothed me. I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what it has been made for, and I seek Your protection from the evil of it and the evil of what it has been made for.”

Recite this du’a leaving the bathroom –

“Ghufraanak”

“I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness”.

As you hear Adhaan and whenever the caller says “Hayya ‘alas-Salah” and “Hayya ‘ala-l-falah” Reply

La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

(There is no might or power except with ALLAH)

To reply is an act of  Sunnah and when the Adhaan is finished recite this du’a-

Allaahumma Rabba haathihid-da ‘watit-taammati wassalaatil-qaa’imati, ‘aati Muhammadanil-waseelata walfadheelata, wab ‘ath-hu maqaamam-mahmoodanil-lathee wa’adtahu, [‘innaka laa tukhliful-mee’aad]

After replying to the call of Mu’aththin. you should recite in Arabic Allah’s blessings on the Prophet. O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him, [verily You do not neglect promises].

Men may join the congregation for prayer in masjid that is twenty-five times better than praying alone in-house. Women should pray indoors.

Recite this du’a while going to mosque-

“Allahumma ijAAal fee qalbee noora, wafee lisanee noora, wajAAal fee samAAee noora, wajAAal fee basaree noora, wajAAal min khalfee noora, wamin amamee noora ,wajAAal min fawqee noora, wamin tahtee noora, allahumma aAAtinee noora.”

“O Allah, place within my heart light, and upon my tongue light, and within my ears light, and within my eyes light, and place behind me light and in front of me light and above me light and beneath me light. O Allah, bestow upon me light.”

Recite this du’a when entering the mosque-

“’A’oothu billaahil-‘Adheem, wa bi-Wajhihil-Kareem, wa Sultaanihil-qadeem, minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem. [Bismillaahi, wassalaatu.] [Wassalaamu ‘alaaRasoolillaahi.] Allaahum-maftah lee ‘abwaaba rahmatika.”

“I seek refuge in Almighty Allah, by His Noble Face, by His primordial power, from Satan the outcast.1 [In the Name of Allah, and blessings.]2 [And peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.]3 O Allah, open before me the doors of Your mercy.”

Prepare yourself before salah by making Wudoo and then locate yourself and the prayer rug where you will pray. Conduct your Salat-al-Fajr. After Fajr salah reciting Al-Quran  is absolutely necessary and rewarding. According to the verse ~

“Aqimi alssalata lidulooki alshshamsi ila ghasaqi allayli waqurana alfajri inna qurana alfajri kana mashhoodan” (Al-Quran 17:78)

“Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur’an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.”

When you leave the mosque recite this du’a-

“Bismil-lah wassalatu wassalamu AAala rasoolil-lah, allahumma innee as-aluka min fadlik, allahumma iAAsimnee minash-shaytanir-rajeem.”

“In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You from Your favour. O Allah, guard me from the accursed devil.”

Recite this du’a when entering the house-

Bismillaahi walajnaa, wa bismillaahi kharajnaa, wa ‘alaaRabblnaa tawakkalnaa

In the Name of Allah we enter, in the Name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we depend [then say As-Salaamu ‘Alaykum to those present].

If you like to go back to bed after Fajr salah you can or rest for a while and there’s no restriction in sleeping. But it is Sunnah to stay awake till sunrise and during that time do dhikr. People, who did not chose to rest, can exercise and take in fresh air of the morning.

Let’s not skip the most important meal of the day that is breakfast. It is a Sunnah to wash off hands and eat with right hand. Whenever you begin eating say Bismillah and then recite this du’a-

“Bismillaahifee ‘awwalihi wa ‘aakhirihi.”

“In the Name of Allah, in the beginning and in the end.”

Recite this du’a after eating-

“Allaahumma baarik lanaa feehi wa zidnaa minhu.”

“O Allah, bless us in it and give us more of it.”

Muslims who have to go for work or school shall get ready and then recite this du’a while leaving the house –

“Bismillaahi, tawakkaltu ‘alallaahi, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata ‘ illaa billaah.”

“In the Name of Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah, there is no might and no power except by Allah.”

In the same fashion when you work and the time for Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib and Isha salah comes across, just pray it on time. Don’t try to skip rather be ready before the time. That’s the basic practice. So when you are at leisure, try to read Hadith or google some Islamic quotes in the internet or research on gathering information about the history and historical persons in Islam. This is how you develop yourself as a Muslim. Knowing about your religion more should be your agenda always.

When after all your time is spend and it is time for bed again. Make a habit to go sleep early. This is helpful for your brain and body. Say Bismillah before closing the doors of the house, before covering utensils with food in them, switch off or turn off fires, light etc. Dust the bed thrice with the corner of your clothes. Do Miswaak. In a state of Wudoo, sleep on the Right, facing the Qibla with the right hand underneath the head like a pillow and with the knees slightly bent.

Before sleeping cup your palms together, blow gently into them and recite this du’a –

“Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem. Qul Huwallaahu ‘Ahad. Allaahus-Samad. Lam yalid wa lam. yoolad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ‘ahad.”

“With the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say: He is Allah (the) One. The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He begets not nor was He begotten, and none is equal to Him.”

Making du’a before and after every action is a vital role for Muslims. Daily exclaim has been a common practice now and generalized everywhere. Few Muslim expressions like these are genuinely used:-

il_570xN.1388569775_m93c

Many  more like Maasha Allah ~ to express happiness; Allaahu Akbar ~ to express surprise; A’oodhu billah ~ to express dislike; Astagh-Ferrullah ~ to express repentance of a sin and expression of gratitude ~ Jazakallahu Khairan. Expressions like Alhamdu-Lillah while sneezing and reply Yar-Hamuk-Allah to when someone else sneezes. Receiving a death message expressing Inna-Lillahi-Wa-Inna-Ilaihi Rajiun (To The One True God We Belong And To Him We Shall Return). Islam established a code of practice to express in case of Muslims and In Shaa Allah the way of Islam shall continue to grow inside of all Muslims. Ameen.
